由游戏改编的动画电影《魔兵惊天录》，日前由蜜蜂工房在facebook宣佈即将于新春上映。故事描述拥有「世界之眼」之左眼的魔女Bayonetta为了追寻失去的记忆前往宗教都市维格利德，沿途上遇见了认为她杀死了父亲的男记者路卡，另一名战斗方式类似的白髮女子贞德，在与天使的战斗中逐渐解开过去失去的记忆。原作游戏由Platinum Games开发，并且曾经在fami通杂志获得40点满分，是史上第12款获得满分的游戏。
